Darren consults as a story developer for playwrights and screenwriters.

For screen Darren has developed stories from seed idea (short story, log line etc.) through to completed screenplay, along with taking screenplays to next draft. Darren believes in the discipline of structure, guiding screenwriters through industry recognised steps - from log line, synopsis, scene layout, treatment - through to first draft screenplay.

For stage Darren has developed and formatted stories from idea, rough draft through to production ready manuscript.

Darren's ethos is preserving the writer's voice - no matter what. As a writer Darren understands the importance of 'authorship', preferring to collaborate with writers in order to maintain their individual view and tone.

Darren loves writers - and loves working with them.
